On to our story.
“I think I’m having a heart attack.”
This is it. I am going down. I feel like I have been a good person and will go to heaven. But have I?
These are my thoughts as I stare at a quote for insurance on the ranch.
$15,000.
“I think I am going to throw up.”
The insurance cost $5,600 last year. Something is very wrong with our economy. That’s not including taxes and the mortgage—deep breath.
We are flower farmers, and we help at-risk youth and veterans with our horses. What the heck!
I just wrote down my goals for 2025 and summarized them as follows: “By the end of 2025, I am going to start paying myself.”
Until I opened this letter, I was feeling really good about 2025. Our horse program has two new clients, and Katie’s flowers are looking amazing and starting to sell.
This was going to be our year.
